Anna didn't come from hospitality. She trained as a fashion designer. But as she puts it, life takes you down different paths - and hers led her and her husband first into a restaurant project, and eventually into Bellevall, a property just outside Aspe, in the Alicante countryside, that has since grown into a restaurant, a six-room boutique hotel, an events hall, and nine private cottages.
"It's not just any place," Anna says. "It's not a restaurant, it's not just a hotel, it's not just a banquet venue - it's everything all at once."
Building an experience, not a checklist of rooms
That instinct for design didn't disappear when Anna left fashion behind - it just found a new outlet. At Bellevall, it shows up in the details: the decoration of the rooms, the layout of a table for an event, the way a space is arranged before a guest ever walks in.
"Interior design is quite important when it comes to reaching the guest, reaching their heart," she explains. For events, that means knowing a couple or a family well enough to design their celebration around them. For the rooms, it means something simpler but harder to fake: making someone feel like they're in a family home.
That same philosophy extends to the team. Bellevall isn't run by rotating staff - the same core group has been there for five years.
"Everyone who works here is like family," Anna says. "Our core value is the people who work here."
One of them is Elias, who joined as head chef and has since taken on public relations, event planning, and, in practice, oversight of the whole project - a career arc that mirrors the property itself: something that started in one place and grew into much more.

When growth outpaced the notebook
Bellevall's expansion - from restaurant, to hotel, to cottages - brought a problem that's familiar to a lot of independent hoteliers: the tools didn't grow with the business.
"Before Amenitiz, the work was much more manual and much more chaotic," Anna says. Every booking, every note, every detail ran through one person - her. She was the one talking to guests, taking notes by hand, and making sure nothing slipped through.
That single point of failure is exactly what a PMS is supposed to remove, and it's why Bellevall brought in Amenitiz as the property grew.
"Now, with the PMS, everyone can easily access the dashboard, see all the notes," she says. Housekeeping and admin staff each have their own role inside the system. Check-ins, check-outs, invoicing - all visible, all centralized.
"The working time and the professional image are very different from before."
One dashboard, no missed messages
For Anna, the value isn't any single feature - it's not having to hold everything in her head anymore.
"Having everything integrated in one place, in the PMS, makes things so much easier," she says. "I can see all the platforms from a single place - messages, bookings, reviews. That's a relief, so to speak, because everything is very centralized and we don't miss anything."

What Bellevall wants guests to take with them
For all the operational change, Anna's definition of success at Bellevall hasn't moved: it's still about what a guest feels when they leave.
"What we want is for guests, the people who come here, to leave with a wonderful memory of both the food and the spaces - and, above all, to leave with our friendship."
Bellevall's story is a reminder that hospitality isn't only about the spaces you build - it's about the people who run them, and the systems that let those people spend their time on guests instead of paperwork. What started as a six-room hotel and a restaurant has grown into a nine-cottage property with weddings, events, and a five-year team that still feels like family - all managed from a single dashboard instead of one person's notebook.
